I live from day to day. It's the only thing I can do since June 8, 2010.
See, I was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma--Stage 2b at the age of 42. I won't bore you with all of the medical details, but let's just say that from that day forward, I was forever changed.....as was my family.
When I am asked why I move so slow, I explain.
I have a question:
Why is it that when I mention that I have had breast cancer, I sometimes hear, "Oh, you look great!"
Good grief, how the hell am I supposed to look? Emaciated without hair? I look just like I always have, I just move slower.
I make time for the people in my life that are important to me.
Should you come across my blog and have questions about me, by all means ask. I will warn you though, I will be blunt and to the point.
Consider yourself warned.
